Press F8 when 'Starting Windows 95' appears and select 'safe mode' or 'safe mode command prompt only'.
NOTE: The following procedure describes how to start the computer in safe mode.
1) Turn on the computer.
2) Wait for the 'Starting Windows 95' message to appear.
3) Press F8 IMMEDIATELY. (The text-mode 'Microsoft Windows 95 Startup Menu' appears.)
4) Select one of the following safe-mode options:
a) Select 'Safe Mode' to start a normal Windows session in safe mode.
b) To maintain network connections when you start Windows, select 'Safe mode with network support'.
